Job Duties:
The paving laborer position is responsible for assisting with the pouring, smoothing, and finishing of blacktop and asphalt on roads, driveways, and parking lots. Workers will also rake, sweep, and align roads and parking lots, and work alongside tractors, milling machines, pavers, and screeds.
Additionally, paving laborers help prepare pavement saws, measure lines, and perform daily clean-up tasks. They unload trucks and gather tools; shovel, rake, and sweep general surfaces; operate wheelbarrows for blacktop and stone; maintain cleanliness of equipment and job sites; and occasionally flag or direct traffic near work areas.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities
